My husband derrick was a funny man. he always knew how to make someone laugh, he is also a great father to our children. That man has been my bestfriend and my lover for the past 24 years and counting. We just celebrated our anniversary not even a month ago. Well on Friday the 28th 2021 my husband went to work and i never thought that would be his last time leaving. He started complaining to one of his co-workers about having a bad headache and he felt like being sick. So on his way to stand up he vomited and fell straight into a seizure. By him seizing he was continuously hitting his head to the ground which caused a bleed to the right side of his brain. On the way to the hospital after the paramedics were there he was continuously seizing back to back. He was put on a ventilator and sedated so his brain wouldn't stimulate. When his CT was done they found that he had a brain aneurysm which means his vessel had burst from leaking. He had 2 aneurysm in his past and he already had a coil and it ruptured again right under the first one. They ended up coiling the leak in brain vessel. When they gave him another CT to see if the swelling of his brain went down they seen that he had a stroke. For the past 4 days his stability and vitals have been up and down. One day his stats are good then the next there not. We would appreciate anything even a simple prayer. We also appreciate everyone who already contributed in our time of need. This man is loved by so many and we pray he fights because he is loved. He always made sure his family was straight and now he is fighting for his life. We need him just as much as he needs us. All donation will go to help support our family in this time of need, for travels back and fourth to the hospital, food for our kids and into a savings account for his future needs or in case he succumbs to his injuries.
