Our family’s world changed in an instant.

My sister-in-law, Delaney, is only 25 years old. She is a loving wife, devoted mother to her 3-year-old daughter, and the heart of her home. Delaney has always been the primary caregiver and stay-at-home mom, pouring everything she has into raising her little girl and supporting her family.

Recently, Delaney suffered a devastating stroke that has completely changed the course of their lives.

Doctors have told us that she may never fully walk again, may struggle to speak normally, and will require extensive physical therapy and long-term rehabilitation. The road ahead is uncertain and overwhelming, and her young family is now facing challenges no family should have to endure.

At the same time, my brother has just graduated school and is trying to step into this new chapter of life while suddenly becoming Delaney’s caregiver, provider, and support system during the hardest moment they have ever faced.
