It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we share the loss of our beloved nephew, DeAnthony Glenn, who was taken from us far too soon.
On Saturday night, DeAnthony—just 14 years old—was tragically hit by a car and life-flighted to Memorial Hermann in the Texas Medical Center. Despite the tireless efforts of the medical team, he succumbed to his injuries.
DeAnthony was a freshman at Cy-Falls High School, where he was already excelling both academically and athletically, especially in football, a sport he truly loved. He was handsome, full of promise, and had a smile that could instantly lift anyone's spirits. His joy was infectious—he had a way of making even the most ordinary moments feel special. Anyone who knew him was touched by his energy, kindness, and light.
His mother, father, and entire family are devastated by this sudden and tragic loss. Like so many families facing the unthinkable, they were not financially prepared for a tragedy of this magnitude. They are now faced with funeral expenses estimated between $16,000–$18,000, on top of the overwhelming emotional weight of losing a child.
We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from family, friends, and the broader community—especially those who were touched by DeAnthony’s story. Your kindness has meant more than words can express during this painful time.
If you are able, we humbly ask for your support. Any contribution—no matter the size—will help ease the financial burden on DeAnthony’s parents as they focus on grieving and honoring their son’s life. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser so it can reach others who may be able to help.
Thank you for your compassion, your prayers, and for helping us honor the life of a beautiful young soul who will forever be loved and missed.
