For Danna and Her Family

Donation protected
On behalf of her husband Ed, her daughter Danielle, and her son EJ.

Some of you may know, but Danna suffered a cardiac arrest at home on Thursday, December 30th due to (what we found out to be) sepsis caused by an infection in her blood. After almost an hour without a pulse, her heart started to beat again, showing us what a fighter she truly was.

Due to the severe brain damage that was caused from having no pulse for so long, and the assessment of the doctors that there was no chance at recovery, her family made the difficult choice of taking her off life support. On January 3rd Danna got to meet her savior face to face.

Danna was undoubtably a warrior. She had battled health issues for over 20 years, and more significantly within the last 4 years, but she did not let that stop her. She lived more life and loved harder than anyone else, never complaining and always encouraging others. She would find a way to overcome and combat any obstacle thrown her way, often sprinkling some sparkle on it along the way. She was the life and soul of every party, and if there wasn’t a party happening, she’d start one with her contagious love and infectious joy.

Anyone who got the privilege of meeting her would say that their life was better because of her.
To know Danna was to know Jesus.
Although all of heaven rejoices, earth grieves the loss of one of life’s most precious gifts, and she also leaves behind her most precious gift… her family.

Her family is now faced with not only grieving the loss of the most amazing wife and incredible mother, but are also left with a huge financial strain. Danna did not have life insurance and required care from two hospitals after her cardiac arrest, both of which are not covered by her medical insurance. She had also required a lot of medical attention in the last few weeks before her passing.

Family was everything to Danna, and she embodied the very meaning of it. Her husband Ed serves as the pastor of Faith Bible Chapel South and has devoted his life to not only looking after her but looking after, and meeting the needs of, countless others. Her daughter Danielle and son in law Makoto serve as missionaries with Circuit Riders and are expecting a baby boy in a few months time. Her son EJ and daughter in law Katherine live in Texas and have a beautiful three month old baby girl Hazael.
Danna was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunty, and dear friend to so many.

We would like to be able to not only give Danna the celebration of life that she deserves, but really and truly provide some financial support to her family during this tragic time to ease some of the burden. Anything raised will go directly to her husband Pastor Ed and the family to cover any and all expenses needed.

If you know Pastor Ed and Danna, then you would know that they lived by the moto “you can never out-give God” and their lives together exemplify generosity.

Thank you in advance for wanting to support the most important thing to Danna.
Mia Famiglia.
Family.
