For Cyndy: A Mother’s Strength, A Daughter’s Hope.

My mom is the most selfless, kind-hearted person I know. She has always put others before herself, giving everything she has—even when she had nothing left. Now, she’s the one who needs help.

She was diagnosed with triple-negative invasive ductal carcinoma, an aggressive form of breast cancer, along with a 6.3 cm thoracic aortic aneurysm—a life-threatening condition requiring surgery. Right now, she’s halfway through Red Devil chemo (AC), fighting through some of the hardest days of her life. If the cancer responds to treatment, she’ll then face open-heart surgery to repair the aneurysm.

On top of this, she is completely housebound because her car is beyond repair. She has rides to her medical appointments, but beyond that, she is stuck at home, unable to regain even a small sense of normalcy in her life. A car would mean freedom—allowing her to get out of the house when she feels up to it and giving her back some of the control that this vicious disease has taken from her.

One of the hardest parts of this for her is losing her independence. She has always been incredibly self-sufficient, never asking for help and always finding a way to make things work. Not having a car has taken away that freedom, making it difficult for her to do even the simplest things on her own. And when she needs to see a doctor unexpectedly, it’s tough—especially if I’m at work and can’t get to her right away. Having reliable transportation again would allow her to regain some of her own life instead of having to rely on others for everything.

Beyond being an incredible person, I may be biased, but my mom is the best mom in the world. No matter how little we had growing up, she always made sure my brother and I never felt like we had less than anyone else. We didn’t have much, but because of her, I had everything any kid needed—love, support, and a safe, happy home. Now, I want to give back to her the way she’s always given to us.

She’s also a devoted Sunday school teacher, and she absolutely loves her Sunday school kids. Even while battling cancer, she spends hours of her own time creating curriculum to make sure they have meaningful lessons and a strong foundation in faith. Teaching them brings her so much joy, and she pours her heart into it, making sure each child feels loved, encouraged, and supported.

She’s not able to work and has no way to afford a new car or the overwhelming medical expenses piling up. Despite everything, she stays positive, never complains, and still finds ways to lift others up. I want to be able to lift her up.

I’m asking for help to give my mom what she truly deserves—a chance to heal, a chance to fight, and a chance to live her life without the constant burden of financial stress. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward:
• Helping her afford medical expenses.
• Purchasing a reliable car so she can regain some independence.
• Covering daily necessities during this difficult time.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul.
