Cory, known to many as Twig, passed away at just 26, leaving a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. For nearly five years, he was a cherished member of our online community. You could count on Twig being there—always ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or stay up late gaming with friends.

Most people didn’t know that Twig faced private health challenges; Becker Muscular Dystrophy and Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Cory's little brother, Max, also has Becker Muscular Dystrophy but currently no heart condition. In his final days, Twig was surrounded by his family and his best friend, Fox, who stayed by his side and kept us updated from Queens Burton Hospital Ward 6. The family is especially grateful to the hospital staff for their compassion and care. Twig’s friends, like Frumpy and Fox, have shared moving words about his loyalty, laughter, and the deep bonds he formed. Their memories remind us of the love and support that defined Twig’s life.

To honor Twig’s memory, we’re coming together for a fundraiser in his name. All donations will be collected in one place and given to the charities (Muscular Dystrophy UK & US) and Queens Burton Hospital Ward 6 that took such care of him. We’ll share updates as the family chooses where to direct the funds. Thank you for helping us celebrate Cory aka Twig’s life and continue his legacy of kindness and community.
