Coach Pat’s Fight Against Functional Neurological Disorder

Donation protected
Coach to a few, but a loving father, husband, and friend in need.

At 47 years old, Pat was suddenly diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), a condition that has left him struggling to walk, talk, and use his limbs. This unexpected challenge has turned his life upside down but if anyone can overcome it, it’s Pat. He’s always been the person to lend a hand, a kind word, or even the shirt off his back (unless, of course, it’s his prized Air Jordan shirt).

Pat is more than just a friend, he’s family to everyone he meets. He’s the guy who will always have your back, ready to support, make you laugh, and remind you how much you matter. Despite working 14-hour days, six days a week, he still made time to coach his favourite little league team, the Wynnum Jaws U6s all while recovering from a ruptured tendon and wearing a moon boot. That’s the kind of dedication and heart he brings to everything he does.

Like most husbands and fathers, Pat is the main provider for his little family. He’s never been one to ask for help but he needs our support now more than ever as he faces the most challenging fight of his life. The road to recovery will be uncertain and long, but with your help, we can make sure he has the resources he needs for therapy, care, and support to rebuild his life one step at a time.

Your generosity can help him regain the strength he’s known for and get back to being the amazing man he’s always been. Please consider donating to Pat’s journey. Every little bit counts, and together we can help him heal and rise above this challenge.

Thank you for showing up for someone who has always shown up for others.
