On the 9th of January 2020, our dear friend Clay was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer. Clay, loving husband to Heather, and loving father to his beautiful 5 year old daughter Carter has continued his fight and is undergoing treatment presently. This past Saturday the 25th of February, Clay underwent emergency surgery due to complications with his kidneys, as well as multiple infected abscesses. Due to Clay's enhanced infections, his body was going into sepsis. Clay is currently in the ICU at St. Davids in Austin, TX and has continued his fight. Yesterday, the 1st of March was his second day up on his feet. Clay and family, have continued to lean on their amazing faith and placed everything into God’s hands. These funds will be used to help fund his continued treatment and ease the financial strain on this beautiful family. For someone that has given so much to our community, it is our turn to pay it forward. Before Clay’s diagnosis within Clay’s already busy schedule and priorities focusing on his Faith, Family, and Business, he found the time to give back to the community. Clay founded the 100 Man Give a Damn, Highland Lakes Chapter. This organization has helped to raise thousands for local nonprofits in need. Not only did Clay focus on his immediate community he also has always been there for his friends and family. Clay officiated my beautiful wife and I's wedding and said the kindest words and made it a moment that we could never officially repay him for that. Clay is truly an amazing man. He is not just a friend, he is family. God has used him to care and show love for so many. With all this being said, we ask that you look into your hearts and pay it forward to this beautiful family as Clay continues this fight. There is no donation too small or too great. Give what your heart leads you to and truly make an impact on this beautiful family's life.
Galatians 6:2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Mathew 25:44-45 Then they also will answer, saying, Lord when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you? Then he will answer them, saying, Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for me.
