Our grandson Christopher was involved in a single-van accident on Thursday, April 13. The roads were slick from recent rainfall and he lost control of his cargo van and struck a cement telephone pole. He was trapped in the burning vehicle and pinned behind the airbag. His pelvis was crushed. He was aided by a neighbor with a garden hose. Chris faces two-six months of a medically induced coma, numerous surgeries, intense rehabilitation, and a lifetime of assisted living. He has endured the amputation of both arms, the left below the shoulder and the right at the elbow. He may be blind. Any assistance you could render to our grandson at this horrific juncture of his life would be greatly appreciated. Funds raised will be used to defray his medical and support costs.
