We are heartbroken to share the news that Chad Schaefer passed away Monday, May 15th after a month-long battle in the ICU. Chad was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and dear friend to many.

Chad cared deeply about his entire family and loved his wife and daughter fiercely. We are setting up this fund to help support Kara, who lost her best friend and love of her life, and Lena, who lost her amazing father. This fund is intended to assist as they encounter medical bills after a month-long ICU stay, funeral costs, and learning to navigate life without Chad.
