I’m raising funds to help the victims of the recent earthquake in Cebu, Philippines.

Hi, my name is Leo. I’m from Japan, and this year I’m studying abroad to improve my English. I went to Cebu in February, and now I have friends there. On September 30, an earthquake measuring magnitude 6.9 struck Cebu, leaving 69 people dead and more than 150 injured.

As Japanese, we know well the devastation that earthquakes can cause, so I felt we had to do something. Cebu is a wonderful place, and I hope my friends there can return to their normal lives soon.
