For Clare Bear, Our Warrior Women!

For everyone who knows Clare you know she is a bright light on a dark day, her laugh is contagious, and she loves her family more than anything on this planet. Clare has been fighting brain cancer since 2020. She has fought so hard and has done so with such grace. For as long as I've known Clare she has always been the first to volunteer, the first to help others and has always been such an inspiration to me and to everyone who's had the pleasure of meeting her.

Clare recently had a doctor's appointment and the news is not what we had all hoped for.

"The MRI showed some continued growth of the primary tumor in the frontal lobe behind the right eye. Additionally, there are now growth sites on the basal ganglia and just anterior to the occipital lobe around the same height. The sites are small but active. Since the Avastin is not stopping the current growth and allowing new growth sites, they are discontinuing it. The doctor is putting Clare back on the oral steroid to booster her system to help her try to recover from the bronchitis she has been fighting for 3 weeks to make her more comfortable. Finally they are sending the referral for early admission to hospice rather than drugging her with treatments that aren’t working. Please help to prayer for her while we transition to this stage of her care."
