On Saturday, December 13, our world changed in an instant.

Brycen — a devoted husband, beloved brother, loyal friend, and passionate athlete — was involved in a life-changing dirt bike accident while riding on a track he knew well. He went headfirst into a tree and sustained a severe spinal injury. As of now, Brycen is paralyzed from the chest down.

Brycen has since undergone emergency surgery to stabilize his spine and is now beginning what will be a long, demanding road of rehabilitation. At this time, there are many unknowns ahead, but what we do know is this: Brycen is strong, resilient, and determined. He has always embodied grit, perseverance, and grace, and we believe wholeheartedly that those qualities will carry him through this next chapter.

Earlier this year, Brycen married the love of his life Kayla. She has been by his side through every moment of this unimaginable journey, showing unwavering strength, love, and devotion. Together, they are surrounded by an incredible circle of family and friends who are rallying around them with prayers, encouragement, and support.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden that comes with a traumatic injury of this magnitude. Funds raised will go toward:

• Medical expenses and ongoing treatments

• Rehabilitation and therapy costs

• Adaptive equipment and accessibility needs

• Travel, lodging, and day-to-day living expenses during recovery

This fundraiser is being organized by Maison Sills on behalf of Brycen and Kayla Killion. Brycen and Kayla are close family friends. All funds raised will go directly toward supporting Brycen and Kayla during Brycen’s recovery, including medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, travel, housing near the rehabilitation center, and daily living needs.
