For Bohdi, with love and gratitude

Hi, I’m Bohdi. If you’re here, you probably already know how much I love my people — Robin and Alicia. They’re my whole heart.

Let me tell you a little story. I brought Robin and Alicia together — literally. One day on the beach, I walked Alicia right up to Robin when we were in need of a poop bag. The rest is history. That was the beginning of our family.

I wasn’t just a pet. I was the love glue — the tail-wagging reminder that everything would be okay. I did my best to spread healing, joy, and presence not just in our home but to every soul that crossed our path. I especially loved my girl Zoe — chasing her around the house and waking her up with kisses.

Even when my heart and kidneys started to fail me, Robin and Alicia never gave up on me. They did everything they could to keep me comfortable and surrounded by love. And they did it with such devotion — no matter the cost.

Now I’ve crossed over, but I still want to take care of them. If you’re able to help, it would mean the world — to them and to me.

I had the privilege of watching Bohdi and Zoe last fall while Robin and Alicia were in the jungle. I became very attached to both of those angels who helped me process a major life shift. Bohdi in particular looked into my soul and let me know that everything would be ok. Caring for him was a great honor and while i can never fathom the loss that Alicia and Robin are feeling right now, I miss him deeply and I want to do all that I can to support his family during this time in exchange for the soul medicine he gave me last fall. I am raising funds to cover the costs for his end of life care, including medications for his heart and kidneys, vet visits and the mobile death doula/vet at the very end. Any extra funds that I raise will be donated to a charity in Bohdi's name which I believe is a really beautiful way to honor the spirit of the deceased. I started this page in case others also felt so called to honor Bohdi in this way if you too received his medicine at some point over the years.
