Chelsey Clark, one of my best friends, is facing an unimaginable loss. Early this morning, her husband, Bill Clark, passed away unexpectedly, and her world changed in an instant. The shock and heartbreak are overwhelming, and Chelsey is now navigating a future she never could have prepared for — without her partner and the person she shared her life with.

Bill was only 52 years young, but he was so much more than that number. He was strong — stubborn in the best way — protective, loyal, and deeply loved. He had one of the biggest hearts and would show up for anyone who needed anything. He was full of life and love, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

To Chelsey, he was her not just her husband. He was her home. He was her person. He was her best friend.

They were supposed to grow old together and see the rest of the world side by side. They had so many plans still waiting to be lived. This loss is sudden, devastating, and impossible to put into words.
