My sister, Joely, and her partner, Jesus, recently received devastating news about their baby boy, Noah.

During pregnancy, Noah was diagnosed with several severe and complex medical conditions, including Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return (TAPVR), a single functioning heart ventricle, and Heterotaxy Syndrome.

After many appointments, testing, and multiple medical opinions, doctors have confirmed that surgery would not improve Noah’s outcome. Because of how complex his condition is, the only path forward is palliative care. Focusing on keeping him comfortable, surrounded by love, for however long they have with him.
