Hello everyone, my name is Nicole Tome and I’m starting this gofundme page for my sister and brother-in-law, Brian and McKensie Hacker.
As many of you know, McKensie and Brian welcomed their beautiful baby girl Klaire into the world on November 1st, 2022. Baby Klaire spent 2 long weeks in the nicu requiring mild medical intervention, after which she was deemed stable and healthy enough to come home. Sadly, after Christmas 2022 Klaire developed worrying symptoms and Brian and McKensie decided to bring her to the hospital. Doctors and nurses started working on Klaire right away and informed Brian and McKensie that she would need transferred to Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey. Since then Klaire has been fighting a constant battle to stay stable, requiring her to be intubated and many other invasive medical interventions. Klaire is only 2 months old and has already been through more obstacles medically than most adults do in their lifetime, she is one tough cookie!!
During this entire time, Brian and McKensie haven’t asked for anything other than prayers. They are amazing parents to their two little girls and they deserve all of the help they can get during this trying time.
