I apologize to friends & family just learning of this news—I realize posting on social media lacks elegance, but it’s the most efficient way for me to seek help & share news.
My nephew (Tara & Roger’s son) Ellis, was diagnosed with Leukemia on 11-28-18.
He is 4 months old.
We feel Ellis is being treated by the best— I am asking for help to cover his medical costs, since care is out-of-network, and will likely be extensive.
Ellis is Tara & Roger’s first baby, but they also serve as adoptive parents for my neice, Taryn. Much energy and consideration is being applied to maintain a cohesive family of four. To balance life both in and out of a hospital room.
My sister Tara is my hero for many reasons—One of them is her huge heart and love for others. Her selflessness is endless; even now.
Roger loves my babies as his own and is a humble father and husband.
