Hi everyone, 
 My name is Nicole & I’m starting this go fund me on behalf of my childhood best friend Teddi and her family. 

This is Axl’s story: 

Axl Dee is  4 weeks old now and at 3 weeks he   was diagnosed with TAPVR. 
Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Reurn ... Is a Congenital Heart defect that unbeknownst to us he was born with.  It is usually caught on the ultrasound in utero or within the first few days after birth. In Axl’s case it is “very very very rare” to quote the Dr. that it went undiagnosed for so long  at 3 weeks.
Last Monday I rushed him to DMC ER after he wasn’t breathing right and his color changed. There he was stabilized enough and mediflighted to Valley Children’s Hospital where they found the heart defect. He was then taken into emergent heart surgery to repair the obstructed veins. Today he went back into surgery to close his chest. And now Axl will continue to be closely monitored and cared for as his heart and body heals which they said could take months.

This money will go directly to Axl and his family. It will help with hotel stay, food and time away from work.
