Hi Everyone! My name is Leanne Dennis and I am the niece of Jane Dennis. I have created this gofundme page in the hope to raise money for my much loved Aunty.
I have chosen to keep this private for friends and family of Aunty Jane, as she is not aware that I am creating this page. Aunty Jane is the most self-less, kind, caring and loving soul and would never ask for anything from anyone. We know she would give all she had to someone else, which is one of the reasons I have chosen a gofundme page in the hope we can give back to her for a change.
In 2014 Aunty Jane received the unfortunate news that there was cancer present in her body. Since that diagnosis she has endured countless scans, tests and treatment; including removal of one kidney, some lymph nodes and part of the bladder.
She is consistently and regularly going to appointments to provide her with the best possible treatment options and prepares her for a future that we all hope will be cancer free.
Last week Aunty Jane received confirmation that, “that dreaded C word” was back. This is now the third time in under 2 and half years that she has heard this devastating news.
She turns the BIG 60 on the 17th November 2016 and our family thought that this birthday could have been her first in a few years where cancer would be the furthest thing from her mind. Instead she will be spending it once again preparing for surgery.
Ahead for Aunty Jane is not only further operations, poking and prodding, chemotherapy and anything else that the medical world throw her way; to allow her to live a life free of Cancer.
I would appreciate your kindness in making a donation in the hope to allow her to purchase flights to go overseas to see her much loved and missed family and friends. I know that being able to go and spend time with her immediate family and friends will mean the absolute world to her, and apart from being cancer-free for her 60th Birthday, this would be the best possible gift we could give to her.
