For Arlow - In loving memory of Katie Gourlay

This Go-Fund me page has been established as a way for friends and family to show their support for Arlow, and the Gourlay family, following the devastating and premature loss of their darling Katie Gourlay.

 

 

Katie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer in March 2021 at just 40 years of age. She endured an incredible battle and showed immense strength throughout her treatment, however the aggressive and complicated nature of her cancer led to her passing away, surrounded by her loving family, on the 18th of November. The swift decline of her health left little time to plan for the future of Arlow, her 9 year-old son and greatest legacy.

 

 

Katie was a remarkably kind, determined and vivacious woman who was the most incredible mother to Arlow, loving daughter to Kath and Dave, and adoring sister to Dan and Mel. Her infectious laugh and smile lit up every room she entered, and she will be greatly missed by everyone that was so fortunate to have her in their life.

 

 

Arlow is a gentle and loving soul, and in her final days Katie shared her dreams for the great life she hoped Arlow would continue to lead after she was gone.

 

 

In honour of Katie’s memory and to help realise the future she had been working towards for Arlow, if you wish to show support by donating or sharing this page, any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
