URGENT UPDATE: Andrea Needs Our Help Now More Than Ever

With a heavy heart, yet unwavering faith, I come to you once again to ask for your prayers and urgent support for our dear Andrea.

On March 26, 2026, Andrea underwent a PET scan to determine the next step in her cancer journey. We held onto hope and prayed for good news—but the results have brought us to an even more critical moment.

Andrea’s Stage 4 Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (ccRCC) has now metastasised to her brain. Doctors have found twenty-four (24) tumours.

It is devastating news… but there is still hope.

Andrea has a chance.

These tumours can be treated through Gamma Knife surgery—a highly precise, non-invasive procedure that can help extend her life and, most importantly, give her quality time. Time to keep fighting. Time to keep loving. Time to keep living.

However, this life-giving procedure comes with a heavy cost—approximately ₱600,000, including the surgery, hospital stay in Manila, and travel expenses.

From the heart of a friend—Cielomar

Hello, my name is Cielomar, and I’m reaching out today with a heavy yet hopeful heart to ask for your help and prayers for someone very dear to me—our beloved Andrea Arancillo.

On Wednesday, 7 May 2025, I received the heartbreaking news that Andrea has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (ccRCC). The tumor is in her left kidney and has metastasized to her bones, liver and lungs It was discovered purely by chance, after what seemed like an ordinary accident. On 11 March 2025, Andrea slipped and fell hard. Thinking it was just a painful muscle injury, she kept going for physical therapy. But during her sessions, Andrea noticed the pain was getting worse. This led to further tests, which eventually showed lysis in her bones. Further tests were done to determine the primary source of the lesions. Eventually it was discovered she had a 5cm tumor in her left kidney, and a biopsy revealed the devastating diagnosis.

Andrea had no clear symptoms before the fall—no warning signs, no reason to suspect anything was wrong. Life changed in an instant.

Andrea is currently on oral medication plus monthly injections for her bone (Denosumab). Andrea would eventually need a nephrectomy to remove her left kidney.

Those of us who know Andrea know her to be fiercely independent, incredibly strong, and always full of life. But right now, she needs more than her strength—she needs us. She needs our prayers, our support, and, if possible, our help to shoulder the overwhelming financial burden that comes with treatment in the Philippines.

An illness of this magnitude doesn’t only take a toll on the body and spirit—it weighs heavily on the heart and finances. And that’s why I’ve set up this GoFundMe page. Every little bit helps—whether it’s a prayer, a kind word, or a donation—to bring Andrea comfort, healing, and hope.

This is our chance to show Andrea that she is not alone. That even in her darkest hour, she is surrounded by love, compassion, and unwavering faith.
