BIG NEWS!! THANK YOU! WE DID IT!

Thanks to you and the 170+ people who chipped in, we met our goal of raising $20,000 for a new bench at the Arnold Arboretum dedicated to Hilary Marcus and Jonathan Magaziner.

Hilary and Jonathan shared, "We are grateful and humbled by the generous support of family and friends who helped us realize our dream to make one of our favorite places more accessible to everyone."

We will share information on this page regarding the timing of the bench installation and a dedication ceremony. We hope you can join us.

The $20,000 raised to date will cover the costs of creating and maintaining a custom-made bench for 10 years. Any additional donations will go towards longer term maintenance of the bench.

The bench will be located at the new Roslindale Gateway Path off of Washington Street. Offering a welcoming spot for neighbors, families, and visitors to pause and enjoy the natural world around them — a space for reflection, connection, and quiet moments in one of Boston's most treasured green spaces and a place that holds deep personal value to so many.

Thank you again for your generosity and for honoring Hilary and Jonathan's commitment to inclusion, care, and community.
