Omar Bambara tragically passed away this week after a terrible accident. He leaves behind a loving wife and 5 beautiful children. 

I served with Omar in the Marines and we deployed together to Afghanistan. Omar was a Marines Marine. He was strong, loyal, and a brother to all of us. His love for the Lord and his family was evident in every way possible. During Christmas in Afghanistan, Omar built a Christmas tree made out of water bottles. We did not have access to an actual tree but that did not stop Omar. He lifted everyone up around him. That is the kind of man Omar was. 

His wife and children were his entire world. He spoke about them daily and made sure that he continued to read books to his children even if it meant staying up through the night while deployed. 

The financial burden his wife and 5 children will now take on will be a long and difficult road.  Any funds no matter how small will go a long way. Thank you.
