Hi, we have always had on our agenda to house outside the Ex Servicemen’s club in Penarth a defibrillator for use of the lovely community and of course people who use the club.

the Club started life as a place for ex forces men and women to meet up after the 1st world war and has been a local community social club ever since. We carry out family gatherings and occasions with the free use of the upstairs function room. We also support charities including Marie curie, the poppy Appeal, help for heroes also supporting Penarths very own woodys lodge.

we also have games like skittles pool snooker and darts and hold music nights in the alley function room and lounge.

all this is from a club that is proud to be a non religious and non political and Non profit club where people can just come and meet up from all parts of life.

if we could ask everyone of penarth to chip in to house a defibrillator outside the club we would be proud to maintain it and supply power to it.

The reason for asking on this platform is we as a club only make enough money to survive especially these days with elevated bills anything more than we need goes straight into maintenance of the club for everyone to use.

we know our generous businesses in the town would help out and they can then be proud that they help to save lives in Penarth.
