Footsteps for Food: Trans-Australia Journey

The pandemic has put us in unprecedented times, but some are suffering more than most. South American countries, in particular have struggled to survive from the complete shutdown of one of their most important industries: tourism,  unable to afford food on their plate or the opportunity to provide for their families.

Supported by Chimu Adventures,  on July 1, I am walking across Australia, from the Gold Coast to the Margaret River to raise funds to feed families devastated by the effects of Covid-19.

Every cent will go to purchase food, using my own savings to pay for the expedition and Chimu donating the ground support and logistics in South America to purchase local-grown foods and distribute to those in need.

If you are able, I would encourage you to help us on my journey, for as little as $40, you can feed a family for a week. I look forward to sharing my journey as I cross alone and self supported through one of worlds harshest landscapes, making change along the way.

Every entry on this page will also go into the draw to win a trip to Antarctica on the Ocean Endeavour departing Ushuaia in November 2021. The draw will happen when I complete my journey.
