Footprints wildlife needs your help .
Every year this rehabilitation centers aids in the care and release of over twelve hundred animals . The work is tireless and expensive but rewarding . This year our center has been hit with several tragedies .
First being the owner of Foot prints taking ill .
Kathi was diagnosed with Acanthamoeba on July 24th , Right in the middle of our busiest season . Kathi is an extremely skilled rehabber and as volunteers we rely on her skill and sight . This disease not only cost her the ability of using one eye . But also keeps her from being able to be in direct light, suicide levels of pain and overall exhaustion .
Now being burdened with multiple doctor appts a week , huge medical cost and constant pain . She has still been opening her door to any animal in need .
Though things have been getting a tiny bit better for her . A large walnut tree collapsed on Thursday and Friday last week . Luckily for us no animals were harmed .But it did damage Kathi’s home , enclosure and tons of our equipment.
We need your help!!!
This place means so much to so many . We dedicate our lives to helping these animals . Kathi is my best friend . Someone who gives so much to this world .She deserves to have a helping hand too .
Please if you can share , donate or contribute in anyway . It will not go unnoticed. Help us continue to help nature survive by keeping our center alive .
thanks for listening !
