Foothills Cardiac ICU Family Room Furniture

In June of 2023 Glenda suffered a stroke and a heart attack on the same day. She was rushed to the Foothills hospital in Calgary where she ended up spending several weeks in the Cardiac ICU. While she was there we found ourselves spending a lot of time in the room provided to the families of patients in the ICU. We were able to be together as a family, to rest, to eat, and to take breaks as needed, which was an amazing gift in a very stressful situation. We noticed that many many other families were using this space as well. Unfortunately, although the space was amazing, the furniture was completely worn out from the continued use of families.

As a way to honour Glenda, we would like to raise funds to replace some or all of the furniture in this family room, so that more families can take advantage of the space and be comfortable.
