Foothill Hoops is a 501c3 non-profit youth basketball organization that brings smiles to hundreds of Southern California children each week. The league emphasizes fun, skill development, character enhancement and confidence building and is highly valued in the local communities it serves.
A few weeks ago the van that Foothill Hoops uses to transport its basketball equipment was stolen. This included over $7,000 worth of basketballs, training equipment, portable baskets, scoreboards, uniforms, and referee jerseys inside. Police have recoved the vehicle, but the equipment that makes the league's programs possible is gone.
