Football residential for Amelia
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Melissa, Mum of Amelia. An energetic sporty and enthusiastic girl who loves all sports and especially football. From a young age Amelia has played and enjoyed the opportunities given to her. In 2023 she joined a boys football team only to be dropped in 2024. Amelia had surgery in April 24 to repair persistent 45 minute-1 hour nose bleeds which were ruining her hobbies and daily life- This was successful and she joined a new team September 24.
Amelia has enjoyed the new team and heard about this residential last week, for July 25. Really wanting to go, she came home and has not stopped going on about it over Christmas. This would be a fantastic opportunity for her to develop her football passion.
Amelia is also a inspiration for anyone who meets her. She is a young carer and surely helps around the home with her younger brother who has ADHD and undiagnosed Autism, myself who suffers with muscular problems and her father who is autistic. Although there are the sassy days, ultimately she works hard and has to have breaks to be herself. In her spare time she loves a book, cuddle on the sofa with a movie or taking part in one of her multiple sports (football most of the time).
Amelia is always the first to help anyone in need and in 2022 she donated her hair and raised 350 for the little princess trust.
This residential would mean she would be able to have an extended break of her caring duties around the home, meet new people who enjoy the sport, just as much as she does, and develop new skills by trained professionals.
