Help us make these kids dream come true!
Rafiki BK22 is a Danish association with the purpose of creating cultural exchange between Bwagamoyo Africulture, Søndervangskolen a public school in Denmark, and BK22 our local football club. Our goal is to give the civil society in Bagamoyo, Tanzania, a boost in terms of building a strong community life, as well as to form and develop students and coaches from BK22.
Inspired by their own struggles as kids growing in socially marginalized government housing areas, the children from Søndervangskolen are now determined to make a difference beyond their borders. They are setting out to create a football camp in Tanzania, aiming to provide children there with a safe space to play, learn, and grow. The goal bring the Danish voluntary community life and football camp concept to Tanzania. Through the danish voluntary football community the danish kids have gotten a football trainer education and they now want to spread knowledge love of sports and community feeling to the kids of Bagamoyo.
Through this initiative, they hope to offer Tanzanian children more than just football skills — they aim to provide them with hope, teamwork, and a sense of belonging. This project is a testament to the power of solidarity, showing that even those facing their own difficulties can help change lives on the other side of the world. By empowering children in Tanzania with the opportunity to dream, they are proving that football can be a universal language of connection, empowerment, and transformation.
