Foot Care for Life is a community wellness initiative that raises awareness, provides education, and offers essential foot care support to individuals who often go without it.

Delane Sims was inspired by a growing need for seniors, the unhoused, and diabetics suffering in silence; too many people are living with preventable foot discomfort, pain, and health issues simply because they lack access to proper care, education, or resources. Deeply motivated to make a tangible difference, especially for diabetics who too often face amputations as a direct result of improper foot care, Delane is committed to ensuring people have proper foot care, vital knowledge, and access to essential services before problems become irreversible.

To mark the 28th anniversary of Delane’s Natural Nail Care, we are celebrating by providing up to 1,000 members of the community with the foot health education and screenings they need to keep their feet safe and healthy. We are grateful to partner with compassionate podiatrists who understand the stark disparities in foot health care and who share the conviction that shining a light on the urgent need for diabetic foot prevention can save limbs and lives.

Your donation will directly fund education, screenings, and follow-up care, turning awareness into action and helping prevent needless amputations.

Foot health is often overlooked, yet it plays a critical role in mobility, confidence, and overall well-being. For seniors, individuals with diabetes, and underserved members of our community, something as simple as proper foot care can make a life-changing difference.

That’s why we are launching Foot Care for Life in San Leandro on April 24–25, 2026, for our 28th Anniversary.

Funds raised will directly support the success of our San Leandro launch event and ensure we can deliver a meaningful, high-quality experience for the community. Contributions will help cover essential foot care supplies and wellness kits, educational materials, event setup and equipment, community outreach, on-site support and operations, and future program development. Your support will help us create a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most.
