#Food2Firefighters

UPDATE #2:  Thank you everyone for the generous donations.  Today I was able to talk with some Sonoma County Firefighters who were in town at Healdsburg Running Company taking a quick break and picking up some much needed insoles and massage therapeutics.  They shared stories of their efforts to defend homes in the Mill Creek Area.  It brought tears to my eyes.  THEY ARE TRUE HEROES!  Let's show our appreciation by providing the food and beverages and whatever else they need to do their jobs.  One last push to $25K, raised in less than 48 hours.  We can do this!  #Food2Firefighters

UPDATE: Wow! Let's show our support for the hard working first responders and keep going.  Our community is AMAZING! 

It's unimaginable that Sonoma County is going through this again, but yet here we are.  Our firefighters and first responders are working hard to save lives and homes. They are working tirelessly, some barely getting much sleep or food before heading back out to the front lines. Many of us want to know how we can help.  In normal times, we are able to make sandwiches, snacks and baked goods to deliver directly to our first responders. Unfortunately, during these Covid-19 times, this is not possible.  But we can still help by donating money to a fund that will be used purchase food from local eating establishments therefore also helping our local businesses.
