Update - February 7, 2026:
Since January 5th, 2️⃣7️⃣4️⃣ families have received food boxes from us.
Week 1, we fed 5 families out of the back of our trunks. Now we’re feeding 60-75 families a week and it will only continue to grow!
In the past week, many larger organizations have started to do mutual aid work—and any community support is always appreciated.
But I am really proud of this effort ❤️
We started as soon as we heard children and families in our community were going hungry. We didn’t wait for it to be “politically correct” to help. We did not have existing infrastructure or funding. We did not have staff. It was all an idea I created and the community came together to help me execute!
⭐️ So while I know you have a lot of choices of where to donate these days, I would love if you would continue supporting us! ⭐️
It is running me about $2,000 a week to feed 60 families, and I already know next week we will be at about 100 families. and cost us about $2700.
In the spirit of transparency:
We have served 274 families. I have spent $6730.52 on food and $1,532.68 on supplies like gloves, ziplock bags, boxes to pack food in, dollies and more. I promised good stewardship of your dollars and I am pretty proud those numbers demonstrate that we are feeding an entire family for a week for $31.
If you’d like to support us, any donation is greatly appreciated.

Original Story - January 10, 2026
All week, I’ve been hearing from people—both here in Minnesota and far beyond—who want to help but simply don’t know where to start. Minnesota has incredible organizations doing vital work, yet there’s a growing gap: families need hyper local, immediate support right now. Our food banks are stretched thin as funding declines and demand climbs.
Families are living in fear. Many haven't left their homes in weeks—not because they’ve done anything wrong, but because the color of their skin makes them a target. These families can’t go to the grocery store. They can’t go to food shelves. It isn’t safe.
So who is helping?
Not corporations. Not the government.
❤️ The community & small businesses are❤️
A couple weeks ago, the citizens of Eden Prairie came together and donated enough funds to buy a week’s worth of groceries for 8 families. Three of us packed it. Three of us delivered it. On a cold, rainy night, we made sure families had what they needed. And we realized, while a great start, 3 carts of food aren’t going to alleviate the need.
Since then, the movement has grown. More people want to donate, so I thought it was time to formalize the program: Food Without Fear. Through donations, volunteers, and key community partners, our mission is simple: Minnesotan’s believe no neighbor should go hungry.
Because when everything feels heavy and bleak—we remember who we are. We live here. We work here. Minnesota is a place where people show up for one another. Where we choose care over cruelty. And right now, that matters more than ever.

GoFundMe asks that I share some information for transparency. I am not related to anyone receiving these funds, rather I am using them to purchase groceries for families in our community. I am connected with cultural liaisons, social workers from Eden Prairie schools and other to distribute the meals. The funds will be transferred to me from GoFundMe and I will be the only one spending the funds to buy groceries and supplies for those in our community. They will be meticulously accounted for. Lastly, any remaining funds will be used to purchase items for PROP Food Shelf in Eden Prairie.
