Food Security for 48 Families in Zimbabwe

Hello, my name is Christina Greever, and I met Martha Thom and Jacob Mafuleni at their home in Dzivarasekwa, near Harare Zimbabwe in June 2018. This GoFundMe is on their behalf, and 100% of funds raised will be transferred to them so they can buy food for the 48 kids (and those children's families) that participate in their free Tsoro Arts music and dance program. Here is a message from Martha:

"To our global community and Zimbabwean music lovers,

Martha Thom here from Tsoro Arts. I am writing to you all to let you know about this fundraiser we are organizing in the lead up to Christmas. Many of you know, but some may not, that December is my birthday month, and with that I want to celebrate by raising at least $2500 for 48 kids so that they can have food for their pantries for the winter months. Many families in my community were hit hard by COVID and have not recovered. Obviously if we can raise more, the more help we can give our community. Thank you so much from our hearts to yours. Martha does so much for her community. She raises funds for food when she can, such as a similar campaign they did in late 2020 (photo for this campaign is from that) for the kids at Tsoro Arts. Martha and Jacob teach traditional and modern mbira, marimba, and dance to the children in their community for free, at their home. Jacob builds mbira and marimbas to earn money for his family and community. And Martha fundraises with her existing network to secure funds for school fees for as many children as possible that attend Tsoro Arts so that they may continue their schooling. School in Zimbabwe is not public, and it is not free.

This fundraiser is for food for this winter for the Tsoro Arts kids and their families. Will you help me raise $2600 for this purpose? That is about $50 a family.
