The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Al-Tirmidhi) 

Asalamu’alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu, brothers and sisters. I hope everyone is staying safe and at home during this global pandemic. 

We have created this page as a family to remind ourselves as well as other people of the hundreds and thousands of families going through the difficulty of not being able to provide simple necessities for themselves such as food. We have put together a team who have previously provided food parcels which have fortunately been distributed to around 100 families in Bangladesh. Within each food parcel contains:

•2kg of rice
•2kg of potatoes
•2kg of onions
•1kg of lentils 
•1Litre of oil

Bi’ithnillah, my family want to do another round before Ramadan finishes hoping to raise as much as we can to provide as many food parcels to the families in Bangladesh. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him,said: “Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).” (Muslim)

During this month of Ramadan, Allah has given us all the opportunity to show our compassion and empathy for the poor and needy as well as fulfil our duty towards them. It is a chance to be giving and elevate our imaan in order to gain reward from Allah and Insha’Allah ultimately achieve Jannah. It is amazing to think that with the donation you make and every rice which is consumed by the the families in Bangladesh, Allah will reward you because of your generosity to contributing to their blessing. 

All donations, whether small or large, will be sincerely appreciated. May Allah reward you for your donation and your willingness to support the needy during difficult times. May Allah make your donations as a means for you to enter Jannatul Firdous. May Allah bless you with something greater in response to your generosity. May Allah grant all of you success and happiness in this life and the hereafter.
