The campaign’s purpose was to provide food deliveries to the staff at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic and by doing so help local restaurants.  We requested funds twice, once at the beginning of the pandemic and again in early 2021 when infections spiked.  During this time, people contributed about $15,000, and we made 31 food deliveries using 15 different local restaurants.  It is unlikely that we will see another surge since vaccines are available and cases and hospitalizations are dropping.  That is such good news.  Thanks to everyone who contributed over the last year.
