The last time I updated this post was back in March of this year. During that time, the genocide was considered in the “ceasefire” stage, which did not last, as Israel broke the agreement made.
Ever since then, there’s been a serious blockage for aid and Gaza has entered Stage 5 of starvation. One were to think something like this would only happen in books and movies, but here we are, living a reality that is insanely hard to believe that is true.
Israel is still committing genocide, continuing for the length to almost be two years of hectic chaos.
As of right now, my personal family is being displaced, yet again. They (the heartless creatures) are giving them a very short period of time to relocate, as they are planning to destroy the building (which is their home) they are living in.
Of course, the possibility of them finding a building to reside in, is slim. One relative and her family has relocated to a tent on a roof of the building, as the grounds have been packed with tents and the camps are filled with other innocent displaced Palestinians.
Time is crucial.
Once the amount need for them to relocate is achieved, the rest of the donations will go to the surrounding neighbours, and those in need of food and water.
The cost of things have gone down a smidge. But by that, I mean, it’s still expensive.
As a Palestinian, as a Gazan, as a human, I feel it in me to do something to help.
With all of that said, this is just a glimpse into what Palestinians are going through. So let's help together to get money to them so that the family can relocate, and others to eat and drink.
I have personal connections through my mum and dad's side of the family to make sure the donations go strictly to Gaza, to go to those in need. They will be sent through MoneyGram once the funds are received through this fundraiser.
Large fundraising companies will never give the full amount to the cause, whereas through personal connections, the full amount will get to where it needs to go.
You don't have to donate a lot, just as much as you can. If you can't afford to do so, please be vocal on social media and spread the word about what is happening. Educate others around you through word of mouth or online. Anything and everything is helping!
Thank you so much for what you have to offer!
