Food Donations for Palestine

Amid the "ceasefire," the majority of the world knows of the genocide going on right now in Gaza, Palestine. It's heartbreaking to see the mass amounts of destruction with carpet bombing, using all sorts of weaponry, bombs, and internationally banned chemicals.

A "ceasefire" has been in "effect" since January 15th, 2025, Israel has still been occupying the land, controlling the Palestinians, and still murdering them. Therefore, saying that the genocide has ended, is false; it is still ongoing.

It is now during the second Ramadan that has taken place during this genocide, and on day two, Israel prevented all humanitarian aid from entering Gaza. It's not something new, as they've done this to the Gazan people for years prior October 7th, 2023. With this said, they are violating international law and still committing war crimes.

It has now been seventeen months, and nearly 300,000 innocent Palestinians have been slaughtered, including of children, and babies that haven't turned one day old. Of course, that is an estimate of those that have been accounted for. There are still hundreds of thousands that aren't, and are still buried under rubble, unrecognizable, or have their bodies decomposed.

As a Palestinian, as a Gazan, as a human, I feel it in me to do something to help.

They have gone through multiple seasons during this treacherous genocide. The people of Gaza have re-entered the brutal cold of winter, experiencing below zero temperatures of winter with babies freezing to death, and flooding amounts of rain that have ruined their tent residences. The hardship of Ramadan during their love for fasting, will increase their tiredness and exhaustion from lack of food and water post Iftar and until Suhoor (breaking their fast at sunset and meal before dawn).

Aid was let in for a temporary amount of time, bringing in what was needed, but as the illegal settler colony put a stop to that, that will lead to millions suffering and starving once again.

With that said, the cost of aid that is has entered has increased tremendously, and with the large population, not all will be able to afford it. They will return to living on very small meals, if even considered that. Possibly even just a date to break their fast. It's not like it hasn't happened before.

To give an approximate idea, six individual vegetables cost $30 USD. That is not enough for a family to survive on for several days.

With all of that said, this is just a glimpse into what Palestinians are going through. So let's help together to get money to them so that they be able to eat and drink.

I have personal connections through my mum and dad's side of the family to make sure the donations go strictly to Gaza, to go to those in need. They will be sent through MoneyGram once the funds are received through this fundraiser.

You don't have to donate a lot, just as much as you can. If you can't afford to do so, please be vocal on social media and spread the word about what is happening. Educate others around you through word of mouth or online. Anything and everything is helping!

As for food, nearly none is reaching northern Gaza. Heading down south, to Rafah (where it was claimed to be "safe," that was no longer, and never the case as it was bombed several times, including the 'Rafah Tent Massacre' (of May 2024) of innocent refugees were in their tents killing over 200 in less than 10 minutes), food is sparse, and also expensive. One kilogram of flour is $100 USD (let's not forget the 'Flour Massacre' of February 2024), three eggs are $5 USD, one onion is $1 USD. And as the days go by, things are getting more expensive.
