Valencia's Food Bank is an non-partisan, non-denominational, non-profit organization. Our aim is to distribute food in a periodic or one-time basis to the social groups in need at any given moment. We are currently raising funds to help those affected by the natural disaster DANA in Valencia.
DANA is a Spanish acronym for high-altitude isolated depression. This destructive weather system hit the province of Valencia on October 29, 2024. We now need people’s solidarity more than ever.
At Valencia’s food bank we are making a special call for help through this platform.
The work to be done is unceasing and exhausting, since all the goods we are receiving from across the country are not enough.
Therefore, we need more. We need financial support to secure basic needs over the next few weeks and months for all the people affected by this tragedy.
