My name is Biruk Teshalé Berhe, From Ethiopia , and currently studying in Berlin at GISMA University. I created this fundraiser as a humanitarian charity effort to save lives in idps in seleklaka and IDP camps in north-western Tigray.

Why this charity exists

More than 14,000 internally displaced people who fled Western Tigray are now living in the Hitsats area. and more in seleklaka and in the out skirts of shire

These families lost everything—homes, farmland, income—and today they are facing life-threatening hunger.

International media have documented their suffering.

But today, the biggest threat is not bullets.

It is hunger.

Hundreds have already died from starvation, and more lives have been lost in the past week alone.

This charity exists for one purpose:

To prevent more deaths by delivering food directly to starving families.

Who We Are Helping

This fundraiser supports:

displaced mothers

children

elderly individuals

families who fled violence

people with no food supply or income

These are civilians—people who want nothing more than survival and dignity.

How Donations Will Be Used

Every euro will be used ONLY for purchasing food staples:

flour

rice

cooking oil

lentils

emergency staples (sugar, salt)

No funds will be used for:

salaries

admin costs

personal benefit

100% goes to food.

Distribution and Transparency

Funds will be transferred to three trusted volunteers inside Tigray who:

have already helped thousands since the war

understand the community

can reach the most vulnerable quickly

We will publicly share:

receipts

videos of distribution

photo documentation

beneficiary lists

weekly updates

No hidden expenses.

Cost Breakdown (example)

€1 = supports a family with basic staples for several days

€10 = meals for multiple households

€25 = one family food support for a week

€50 = several families fed

Goal: €7,500

Impact:

helps feed hundreds of families

supports them for 3–5 months

prevents starvation deaths

I am not an NGO.

i speak english and they do not

a student in Berlin

someone who cannot sit silently while my people starve
