Help the Victims of the Fires in Jijel, Algeria

Dear friends, family, and members of our Algerian community,

Our hearts are broken by the devastating fires that have affected communities in Algeria, especially in the Jijel region. Many families have suffered unimaginable losses. People have lost their homes, their belongings, and their sense of security, and lives have been tragically affected.

Even though I currently live in the United States, Algeria will always be close to my heart. I cannot simply watch from afar while our brothers and sisters are going through such difficult times.

That is why I am starting this fundraiser to ask our Algerian community—and everyone who wishes to help—in the United States and Canada to come together and support the families affected by these devastating fires.

I will be traveling to Algeria in one week, and my goal is to personally help deliver support to families and individuals affected by the fires. The donations raised will be used to provide essential assistance based on the most urgent needs on the ground, such as food, clothing, basic supplies, and other necessary support for families who have lost so much.
