Hi, my name is Alex. I’m a combat veteran currently struggling with my mental health and physical disabilities. Due to being unable to work, a lack of support, and a minimal benefit income, my dog Hercules and I have recently become homeless.

Simply put, Hercules is my best friend and the reason I’m still here today. His well-being is my absolute priority.

Right now, the anxiety and stress of dealing with homelessness are off the charts as we struggle with the absolute basics, like keeping food on the table. We are currently staying in Scotland to take advantage of wild camping laws, moving between a tent and an old car that is barely hanging on.

Food & Essentials for Hercules: Ensuring he stays healthy, fed, and cared for.

Basic Welfare & Meals for Myself: Covering daily food and necessities.

Basic Facilities: Occasional access to campsites for a hot shower, clean running water, and a place to charge electronics.
