Who this will help

Dad, Brother, Uncle, Coach...however you may know Ben Fonseca, you know that this man is a fighter. For those of you who know his story, you know that he has been battling this ugly disease for quite sometime. He has beaten the odds time and time again...a true "comeback kid", like this family's never seen.

We are coming together again on his behalf to ask for aid in his family's financial struggle, and to help ease the burden of recent medical expenses that have accrued.

Why I'm fundraising

Ben was diagnosed with a severe case of Systemic Scleroderma back in 2017. This auto immune disease affects the skin and internal organs. Since being diagnosed, Ben has suffered a heart attack as well as a long list of ailments to other major organs. In 2018, he made a miraculous come back after what seemed like the worst decline in health and in a short time. Since then, Ben's body has taken another turn for the worse, and the Scleroderma has been in reoccurrence. In the past year or so, Ben has spent more time in the hospital than with his family. This aggressive disease has caused multiple health issues which in turn have required many procedures, surgeries, and long hospital stays.

His body and soul been fighting for a very long time, meanwhile, he and his family has been consumed with medical expenses.

We ask that you please give however you can, and to share this with your friends and family. Our amazing community came together once in the most incredible way, and we are all eternally grateful. We hope to be able to do that for Ben and his Family again now.
