Help with Moms Medical Expenses

This GoFundMe has been setup by friends for a family who is going through a hard time and is very deserving of some extra assistance. Teresa is one of the most selfless, sweet & giving people we know. She works three jobs to help support her family and never hesitates to go the extra mile for the people she cares about, even people she barely knows. Anyone who knows Teresa knows that both she and her sister care so much for their mom and family in general.
Unfortunately, this has been a very difficult and trying time forall of them - at the end of May Teresa's mom suddenly became very ill and was rushed to the ER. Teresa got the call at work and left early to go be with her mom. The doctors at the hospital couldn't figure out what was causing this abrupt illness. After a very long week spent in the ER with doctors running tests and scans to figure out what was wrong, they found that her mom had Stage 4 cancer in her colon and appendix, causing the appendix to rupture which called for immediate emergency surgery to remove the appendix and cancerous masses. Because the cancer was already at Stage 4, it had already spread to the point that chemotherapy would not be successful as it would weaken her body and shorten her time here. People diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer have a very low chance of survival. The rare form of colon cancer that she has, Mucinex Adenocarcinoma, has no cure and she and the rest of the family have decided to just take advantage of the time that she has left and make her as comfortable as possible. At this time her mom is out of the hospital after having three surgeries and is spending as much time as she can with the people she loves.
Teresa is someone who never asks for anything from other people and would never ask for financial help if we didn't push her to let us set this up. These funds will help Teresa's mom continue to get the best care that she can so that she can be there with her family as long as she can, will go towards all past and future medical bills relating to this illness, supplementing any work that Teresa and her sister have had to miss while their mom is going through this, and will give the family the opportunity to give her the wonderful memorial service that she deserves when the time comes to celebrate her beautiful life.
Bills are already rolling in and we want Teresa, her mom and the rest of their family to be able to focus on quality time after this whole process rather than having to worry about how they will pay for these huge medical bills or working even more to pay for them.
