Hello, my name is Orlando Mogrovejo and I am Medardo’s brother.

I reach out to you today with a heartfelt plea to share news that has deeply shaken our family: after several weeks of constant exams and prolonged waiting, Medardo has been diagnosed with Leukemia.

This diagnosis was an unexpected and difficult blow, but we are not willing to surrender. Medardo is an excellent father, husband, son, brother, and friend—a person who is strong, noble, and full of life. His fighting spirit and his faith inspire us daily to believe that a full recovery is possible. However, the treatment he requires is costly and prolonged, and as a family, we cannot face it alone.

That is why we have created this campaign: to ask for your help, your solidarity, and your support during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, no matter how small, represents another opportunity for Medardo to receive the medical attention he desperately needs and to continue fighting with faith and hope.

Hola, mi nombre es Orlando Mogrovejo y soy hermano de Medardo.

Hoy me dirijo a ustedes con el corazón en la mano, para compartir una noticia que ha sacudido profundamente a nuestra familia: después de varias semanas, constantes examenes y prolongadas esperas a Medardo le han diagnosticado leucemia.

Este diagnóstico ha sido un golpe inesperado y difícil pero no estamos dispuestos a rendirnos. Medardo es un excelente padre, esposo, hijo, hermano y amigo, una persona fuerte, noble y llena de vida. Su espíritu luchador y su fe nos inspiran cada día a creer que la recuperación es posible. Sin embargo, el tratamiento que necesita es costoso y prolongado, y como familia no podemos afrontarlo solos.

Por eso hemos creado esta campaña: para pedir tu ayuda, tu solidaridad y tu apoyo en esta etapa tan difícil. Cada aporte, por pequeño que sea, representa una oportunidad más para que Medardo reciba la atención médica que necesita y continúe luchando con fé y esperanza.
