My name is Mariam Aisha Barry, founder of Fondation Salim, and parent to a young woman with autism. In Guinea, autism is still very misunderstood. It's seen as a madness. Many children are hidden, rejected, and excluded. Families are left without support.

I started Fondation Salim to raise awareness, break stigma and to offer hope where there was silence.

Today, we are raising funds to:

Train parents, éducateurs and health professionals to understand and support children with autism in Guinea:

- Build a center, a safe space and sanctuary where families can find information, and access to specialised education.

- Offer basic therapies and support to autustic children in need.

- Organise autism awareness campaign across Guinea.
