Folsom Football State Championship 2021

Greetings from the Bulldog Nation!!! As you may know, the 2021 season has been a roller coaster ride for our team. We have endured tough losses, injuries, and criticism from all fronts. Despite these challenges, this team has fought back in truly historic fashion.

On November 26th the Bulldogs won the Sac Joaquin Section Division 1 Championship defeating Rocklin 20-3, avenging a loss to Rocklin that occurred just 6 weeks prior. Last night the Folsom Bulldog Varsity Football team toppled perennial powerhouse De La Salle 28-27 in the Northern California Championship game, avenging a loss from October 6th as well as the 4 meetings prior. This will prove to be one of the most impressive wins in program history.

Next week we will be competing for a CIF Division 1 State Championship at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo CA. This will be the Bulldogs 5th trip to the State Championship Game since 2010. The CIF provides the program very limited funds for travel and accommodations. These young men have worked incredibly hard to get to this point. Numerous underclassmen were are added to the varsity roster during the playoffs, making the cost of travel, food, and lodging a tremendous undertaking. Our goal is to travel with EVERY player currently on the current varsity roster and give each of them the opportunity to experience this game. Unfortunately, the funds we are provided by the CIF simply aren't sufficient to achieve this. Because this goal is so important to the program, the players, and their families, we are asking for the community for support! ANYTHING you could donate to our program will contribute to memories for our student athletes that will last a lifetime! Your contributions and generosity will be appreciated more than we could ever express.
