Hi I am Grama Ruby and am fundraising for Destiny. On December 18th , 2022 Destiny's life changes. She almost froze to death - lucky someone's dog needed to go for a walk and the dog and owner found her. Minutes more and she would have died. She had hyperthermia and major frostbite. We are grateful we still have her. She has had both legs amputated, a finger too. Many skin grafts completed. Still trying to figure out the internal damage - not a day goes by that she is nauseous. The pain management is a daily battle. Her life is going to require a lot of new changes. She said "I died and I came back a different person". This is the toughest young lady (HUMAN) I have known in my entire life. She is still in the hospital but wants to get ready for home so will require some help. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
