My name is Catherine Morell, and I am raising funds to pay for my metastatic breast cancer treatment. I have been living with cancer for a few years now, and according to my oncologist, I will be in treatment for the rest of my life, however long that is. The drug is working for now (it prevents the cancer from growing) and I pray it continues to work. Some of my friends know that my life's passion is travel, and while I am alive, my only desires are to be here as long as possible for my daughters, and to pursue this passion. For me to continue to live, I need treatment, and treatment will continue to cost me thousands of dollars every year in premiums, deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses. The stress and anxiety that comes from trying to manage these crippling costs are more than I care to deal with, as I already must deal with the continual side effects of the treatment. All funds will go directly to pay off my current medical debt.
